The itinerary includes a stop in the beautiful coastal town of Caorle, characterized by a typical colorful architecture, with a large pedestrianized area, modern services, and beautiful beaches. This location is known for the marshland huts lined with reeds, which can be admired by travelling slowly through the lagoon around the town. It’s also populated by all kinds of birds and wildlife.
Going up the River Lemene, you reach the Roman port of Concordia Sagittaria and the nearby Portogruaro; visit the recently restored ancient excavations.
