Each holiday represents a wonderful experience, and that’s why we believe it shouldn’t cause concern for you or those waiting for you at home.
For this reason, we’ve paid close attention to the topic of insurance, and have decided to offer you several options to make your holiday worry-free.
Liability insurance – included
Each boat is insured for damage to third parties and third-party property. Insurance is included in the rental price. It’s the classic RC policy (similar to that for cars, to be clear). In the event of damage to third-party items during the holiday, such as may occur in the event of incorrect maneuvering, the company activates this policy, without impacting the customer.
Hull insurance – included
Boats are insured as company assets. Insurance is included in the rental price. In the case of serious damage to the rented boat, the insurance company compensates the charter company.
Travel Insurance – recommended extra
The company offers this insurance to all its customers, from any nation and including those whose destination is outside Italy. It is not included in the rental price but is strongly recommended.
This special policy covers the following main areas:
- Cancellation for serious reasons related to health, work, and more. All crew members are covered, and it is the customer’s right to choose to reimburse the whole or part of the crew for the rental price.
- Medical expenses during the trip
- Costs of loss or damage to baggage
- Repatriation costs
- Home care costs

Insurance must be requested at the time of booking and cannot be requested later.
Collision Damage Waiver – recommended extra
As with any rental business, a security deposit is required upon check-in. This security deposit is necessary to cover damage or loss to the equipment as a result of negligence or inappropriate behavior by the customer. Generally, the deposit amounts to around €2500. The company has activated a RISK REDUCTION POLICY for the customer which reduces by 80% the security deposit to be paid on boarding. In this way, even this mandatory risk is reduced to a minimum for the customer.
Insurance can be requested when booking or at check-in, directly at the reception desk.
